I have started to see that the cursor is missing again. If I click out of the edit window and back in, it re-appears. This was fixed previously (quite some time ago).
I have not been able to identify what circumstances cause this exactly (yet). If/When I do, I will update this thread with the additional information.

I think I figured it out...
While typing, rather quicking, in the case I saw it, I was typing a comment, generally my comments have the names of variables, methods, etc describing what is going to happen in detail. I say the auto-complete box popup and go away (presumably because I was typing away)... when the box went away, so did the cursor.

I found another case where this happens.
I am using Outlook2003. When the little ballon shows up telling me I have email, about 60% or so of the time, my cursor goes away in my editting window. |
