Hi,

this is not about a VAX bug but about a web site bug. When I have an old wholetomato bookmark like so:

http://www.wholetomato.com/old/notthere.htm

I am forwarded to a file not found page giving me some main entry points like downloads, purchse, support...

But the URLs of those links are built incorrectly: if e.g. I hover over downloads I can see the URL: http://www.wholetomato.com/old/downloads/index.html

Which of course is not found also which brings me to
http://www.wholetomato.com/old/downloads/downloads/index.html

And so on...

Bye,
SvenC

Also, for the last week or so, *every* afternoon, I can no longer get to this forum... is it just me, or is anyone else experiencing this?

We fiddled with our 404 page in an effort to make URLs with /x work. The /x directories are now our main directories, ie VA X replaces old software. We are still fiddling. We will fix the problem you report.

As for our forums, and site for that matter, Larry is correct. Our hosting provider has had some trouble. They assure us they are working on the problem. We are monitoriing it ourselves.

Ahh, the 404 page is fixed - I thought you were able to handle that one
