Using VAX and am having the problem with double clicking methods. When any method is double-clicked, once or twice, all the the VAX coloring goes away. A reparse does not solve the problem, neither does closing and opening the workspace, only a rebuild of the symbol table and a restart of the VS6 IDE will solve the problem (till I once again double click a method). Have also notice this problem sprining up once in awhile when highlighting a long line of code. The VAX auto-text still work after the color is gone, as do all other VAX features that I use.
Thanks for any help, Patrick

This sounds like a problem I had with 1223 and if it is, then a workaround is to go to tools - options and canceling out restores the coloring. My trial period ran out before they got this fixed so I haven't bought it yet. I'm waiting until I hear that this problem is fixed. I've been running about a week without VA and it isn't the end of the world, but there are several things that I really miss. |

That workaround still seems to work in 1225, but I would like some info it there is a more permenant solution in the works.

The loss of coloring also seems to be happening when a line of code is highlighted that contains VAX coloring. This seems to remove the enhanced coloring about 70% of the time, and the longer the line, and the more VAX coloring present the more likely that all VAX coloring will be removed. |

It's happenning when i'm turning the BACKGROUND of the windows to BLACK and then double clicking on the methods. I didn't see the connection to long line of codes. Turning ther colors of the windows to default seems to bring back the colors without having to reopen the IDE. I'm using vc6 and 10.0.1228.
Is this problem known ? |

I have the exact same problem with VC6 and Visual Assist-X (Build 1225). Will WholeTomato at least acknowledge they know this is a problem and give us a timetable of when it will be fixed? Its problably the most annoying bug I've seen so far. |

Double-click on a symbol no longer disables coloring in build 1230. |

I just downloaded and installed 1230 and double clicked on a function and sure enough it did not foul up the coloring BUT when I did something else, the coloring went away. I seem to be able to cause the symptom on the first try by doing a find with Ctrl-f of a function not on the screen. Something else - it does not happen with functions that are in italics. Also if you highlight a function that will cause it to fail and scroll up and down just a few lines you will see that the lines that go off of the screen are uncolored when they come back on the screen. I have a black background. I'm doing c++ under VS6 |

I to was able to get the coloring to leave once again. Double clicking a method appears to remove the coloring just on that line. Yet if I double click a few more lines within the same page, the coloring will indeed go away. I tried various tests and the number of lines that had to be clicked before all the coloring left varied from 2-10. I to am using a black background and running VS 6 with version 1230 VAX. |
