Hello all,
In the history of the VA X download, it says quote: Member listboxes appear more often after dot to -> conversion.
I feel that this feature needs a little more fine-tuning. Because yesterday, I (mis)typed the following:char buf[. To increase the stress I have on my current project, VA X start beeping at me after the dot, stating: "IntelliSense: 'No additional information available'".
Could the fine Whole Tomato team please take a look at it? Maybe it should only beep when a variable directly precedes the dot.
Thanks again.
With kind regards, Patrick Luja |

Hello all,
I found another occurance to add to the list. If you want to write the abreviation "m_X->" as "(*m_X).", build 1230 converts the dot into an arrow (so you'll get "(*m_X)->"), and then it correctly states: "IntelliSense: '. or -> used incorrectly'".
Could the team of Whole Tomato, please look at the conversion behavior? (It can be reproduced very every time.) Thanks in advance.
I must say, for me the 1230 build works like a charm...

The beep will be fixed in 1231. We can reproduce the "." tp "->" problem. For a work around, hitting undo or backspace will change it back to a ".". |

Hello all,
Just for you information. There's another one, when creating an try-catch-block, you may type: "catch (...)". The beep will always sound when typing the first dot.
Thanks to the team of Whole Tomato, for fixing it.
