I'd like to see VAX to NOT add a newline before closing curly brackets when they are inserted for initializers.

Like in:
SOMESTRUCT somevar = {0};

Now, as soon as I type the opening curly bracket, VAX inserts a newline and the closing one, which is rather unsexy at this point.

The way I get around this is to type '}' right after '{' then fill it in.

Which makes the whole feature useless.

Another workaround is to press Undo right after the auto-insert occurs.

case=89

Just another method that makes you type more when the feature is enabled. VAX is good because it makes you (normally) type less.

Is "case=" different than "ixBug="??

case sounds more like a working behaviour which could work different/better and might be changed while ixBug seems to describe a true failure of current functionality.

Just a wild guess...

And I vote for the } on the same line without having to type a different key. Though I see the difficulty in distinguishing the different } types

I assumed case was just the new ixBug. They already said they were testing different bug databases.

We use case in lieu of ixBug. The two are interchangeable.
