Since I installed the cuurent WinXP SP2 RC, VAssist has
become unusable. The performance degradation is unbearable.
Devstudio hangs for seconds between keypresses while VA does
something in the background. If I disable VA, everything's
fine.
Is anyone else having problems? Or better: a solution?

Try reinstalling VA X. Make sure you get build 1239.

If you have any other add-ins installed, disable them to see if you have a conflict.

I use the SP2 2096 and have not met the issue.

Williamx: the current SP2 build is 2142.
