The clipboard ring fails to display recently copied item(s) if their first 36 characters are the same as the existing top of ring. These two strings demonstrate the problem:

WWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW123
WWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW156

To reproduce: copy both, bring up clipboard ring, only the most recently added is visible.

Then switch VAX off, and suffer VS.NET's crappy cyclic paste rubbish for a second -- note it cycling correctly through the other one.

Fixed in build 1242.

Though not optimal, we added numbers at the right of the paste menu. Most recent clipboard has the largest number. Selecting an entry moves it to the top. Least-used entries drop from the menu.
