I have recently upgraded to 1246 from 1230 (embarrassed shrug) and
have noticed something peculiar. Now it might well be a WndTabs
problem -- all I know is that it started to appear after I upgraded
to 1246.

The problem is that my WndTabs tabs start to slowly disappear. When
I first start the IDE, everything is fine. And then, after changing
between open files a bit, I notice that the WndTabs active tab is not
the file which is active in the editor pane. In fact, the tab for the
file in the editor pane has gone. I can still see it listed under the
IDE Window menu, but not in WndTabs.

Has anyone else had problems with WndTabs & 1246??

I guess my next step is to down-grade to 1230 and see if the problem
goes away.

BTW, does anybody know if I can pick up versions between 1230 & 1246,
so that if going back to 1230 fixes it, perhaps I can find at which
release does the problem start???

Thanks

Many people here (including me) are using WndTabs with VA X. I don't have any problems with tabs. Note I'm using 1244, because I didn't have problems with bugs fixed in 1245-46.

I'm using VAX 1246 with WndTabs 3.1 in VS6, SP6 without any problems.

Thank you everybody.

I ended up just re-installing WndTabs and things seem fine now. I have
never had to do this before, so I can only blame the unfortunate
combination of large, clumsy fingers with a less-than-functional
brain.

In short, everything is fine now. Thanks for the help.
