There should be an option to allow for jumping immediately to the end of a function from anywhere within a function and visa versa.

Some functions are longer than a given screen space, and although the braces are highlighted, one still needs to eyeball it while he scrolls the code.

This will allow for fast jumping between prototypes and return statements.

Just add "Next Scope" (VAssistXScopeNext) and "Previous Scope" (VAssistXScopePrevious) to the Toolbar or Keyboard-Bindings. It does what you say...

As an alternative you could put your cursor beside the function's open brace, and then press
<ctrl><]>. That will immediately take you to the matching brace. Press <ctrl><]> again and it will take you back to the start of the function.

This also works with parentheses and brackets.

I just tried it with the "less than" and "greater than" symbols and it works for them too. This is really only useful when dealing with long template definitions.

Default shortcut for VAssistX.ScopeNext is Alt+Down Arrow. Try Alt+Up Arrow to move previous.
