Since Visual C++ (version 6) does not auto-increment the version-number in a RT_VERSION Resource, it would be a nice feature if visual assist could do that ;D
It would also be nice if the build date and time could be written into the version-resource...
It's also annoying that Visual C++ also writes unused version-fields (like 'SpecialBuild') into the exe-file...

Have a look at Flounder's MVP Tips, especially An Automatic Build Number Incrementer.

Used it for ages myself. Comes with complete Sourcecode, so you can add Build-Date/Time feature for yourself.

I doubt VAX will ever implement it.
