I can activate the VA-View with Shift+Alt+V but this actions just shows the view and does not the the keyboard focus to it. I have to use the mouse in this situation.
All other accelerators like Alt+2 (acticate Output) also set the focus to the requested bar.

but where in VAView should the focus be placed?

there are two extra keyboard shortcuts available for this, but they don't yet work.
VAssistX.VAViewFIW and VAssistX.VAViewSIW to be precise.
