using VS.net 2002, and VAX 10.1.1278.0, when clicking on the VAssistX menu > Options, or clicking on the options button in the toolbar, nothing happens. is there a way to access the options dialog?
thanks, Ionut Costica |

does anyone have .NET 2002 installed with 1278? i have it, but it isnt installed, so it will be a fuss to install this version to try and test this.
so if someone else could confirm that would be nice |

I have .NET 2002 lying around here, but I'd need to setup a new virtual machine for VMWare first... |

i've tried builds 1279 and 1280 that i found links to in this forum, and the problem persists. in build 1246 there's no problem. |

VA X builds greater than 1246 are probably failing during installation. Do you get any error during install? Do you, if you select "Yes" to the reset option?
Do you have a system debugger running? If so, try disabling it before starting your IDE.
Otherwise, send your license info (from our About tab) via email. |

We believe we know the problem. The fix will be in the next build.
We expect to make the next build avaialble soon. Until then, the only workaround is to use build 1246. |

One more question... Are you running Visual Assist X inside Virtual PC and/or vmWare? |
