I recently upgraded from VA.NET to VA X.

I just run the installer with the default options but now I am not sure that I did it right.

* The VA.NET directory is still there, along the VS X directory.

* I am not sure it picked up the license (we have a 20-user license), as it does not show it on the VA setup page.

Did I mess up something?

Visual Assist .NET remains. You can remove it using the Add/Remove Programs CP.

Your license should show in the About node of our options dialog if VA X found the old key in your registry. If not, VA X is likely in trial mode. Wait until the trial expires or use the Enter Key button on the License node to enter your VA.NET key into VA X.

Any reason for it not to pick up the license?

Also, I'm not sure I understood the "wait until the trial expires" comment. Won't it stop working then?

Entered the VA .NET 7.1 key.
Now it says:

Licensed to:
VA X:
VA.NET 7.1: <username here>

Just to be sure, I can now remove the old VA .NET without impacting VA X, right?
