Hi, I am using vs2003.net and vax, and I don't like the format of the text alignment. In vs2003.net, when I am defining a function and the function has more than one parameters in cpp file, if I press ENTER after one parameter, the next line would align to the "(" in last line.(I don't know if I have made sense.) I like this style, but it could not be aligned in this style at other place. I have made a macro in IDE, but it starting is too slow. Could you implement a feature for this?
Thanks for reading and so sorry for my poor english! |

i understand what you are asking for various people, me included have asked about getting VAX to do some formatting of the code for us. the policy is that there are two many different opinions on what people want done to the code, and you end up with to many different options in VAX to control this.
so unfortunately the answer is no.
however there are other tools that can do this for you. it is worth checking out: http://sourceforge.net/projects/gcgreatcode/
this has just moved to a new home. this takes a bit of work to configure to your chosen code style, but it is free and reliable |
