whenever i cut/pate a code snippet into outlook, it loses the syntax highlighting that VAX put on it. Since I made my VS native settings super ugly purple (that way anything that VAX doesn't parse is easy to find), it's totally unreadable unless i pass it through notepad to strip the color out.

any way around this?

Using VS .NET, eh?

That's a wish I'm carrying around for ages.
According to WT, VS .NET already does copy syntax-coloring to Clipboard.

Well, um, yeah, what you call syntax-coloring nowadays.

Anyway, VS 6.0 doesn't, so VAX does put it's fully enhanced syntax-coloring into clipboard.
Same goes for printing...

I'm with you on this one:
Enhance clipboard/printing syntax-coloring for VS .NET also!
