In C#, certain keywords seem to trigger bogus autocompletion when used with Allman or GNU-like bracing style (open curlies on next line). For example the keystroke sequence "try[enter]{" should result in:

try
{

To start an exception-handling block. Instead, what I get is:

TransparencyKey{

Or some other nonsense.

Language keywords that can be followed by newlines in a very common bracing style shouldn't trigger the enter-autocompletion.

this does not happen to me. what exactly are you seeing? if there is a suggestion or completion listbox present when you type "try" and you then press enter to type the brace then this could accept the current suggestion.

are you running .NET 2002? i have double checked this is not happening for me in .NET 2003, so it is possible the problem does not show up in this version of the IDE. i can find .NET 2002 in order to test this, but i would like to know what i am looking for first.
