Hello, my problem is as follows:
"Open File in Workspace" feature in Visual Assist X 10.1.1299.0 doesn't parse .etp (Enterprise Template Project) files.
As a result of this, I cannot open file from workspace, because my Solution (.sln) consists of few Enterprise Template Projects (.etp) and lastly each of (.etp) consists of several Projects (.vcproj).
Parser ignores .etp files and therefore reaches no .vcproj file to parse.
Is there a way to configure Visual Assist to parse these .etp files?
If not, maybe you can fix this in new version of Visual Assist? My employer, may be interested in buying some licenses for Visual Assist, but only if we could use "Open File in Workspace" feature too. Most of our VS .NET Solutions contains Enterprise Template Projects (.etp).
To add Enterprise Template Project to Solution in Visual Studio .NET: Add -> New Project -> Other Projects -> Enterprise Template Projects -> Enterprise Template Project
Enterprise Templates can be used to create solutions, each of which contains one or more projects. More info on MSDN website: http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/default.asp?url=/library/en-us/vsent7/html/vxconEnterpriseTemplateProjects.asp |

i don't get the option to add one of these to my project, so which version of the IDE are you using? i am guessing you have the enterprise version, but this is an assumption on my part |

From MSDN: "You must have either Visual Studio-?.NET Enterprise Developer or Visual Studio-?.NET Enterprise Architect to use Enterprise Templates." |

Thanks for reply, but this link refers to something else... I cannot resolve my problem that way. :(
I need to set solution and project files extensions, not editor files extensions...

We can reproduce the problem. There is no workaround of which we are aware.
