C++ directories are assigend to wrong platform. I have win32, xbox and xenon platform installed. VAX assigns IDE-win32 to xenon, IDE-xbox to win32 and IDE-xbox to xenon in options dialog.
Using build 1416.

assuming you are using vs2003 do you mean you have more than one platform listed in:
tools menu -> options -> projects -> VC++ directories
? when i go to this dialog i only have one listed platform, and i am not seeing how to add any more platforms. if you are referring to some other screen then where have you setup these settings?
i thought VA only supported two platforms in its options dialog: VA Options -> projects C/C++ directories
specifically Win32 and Custom |

i learn something new every day
how did you add the additional platforms to the IDE? i am not seeing any way to do this, and the help button in this dialog was not all that helpful. |

You won't find official downloads of these SDKs. You need to license these, pay some large amount of money and sign a huge NDA:) |

Found a fix for now.
I renamed platforms under: HKCU\\Software\\Whole Tomato\\Visual Assist X\\VANet to what they should be :) |

while i am happy to help, paying lots of money and signing a NDA seems a bit over the top
i am glad you found a solution |

I hope the bugfix will also work with VS 2005 Beta 2. I see similar problems with the directories, but I have "Windows Mobile 5.0 SmartPhone SDK (ARMV4I)" and "Windows Mobile 5.0 Pocket PC SDK (ARMV4I)" platforms.
The platform selector does not allow me to see the full platform name. Maybe the width of the drop down could be increased?
Thanks,
Frank |
