visual assist X,any version can't correctly show the color I'm setting, when the default text backgroud color set to balck. please help me. |

can you post a screen shot showing this effect? i am not quite sure what is going on. in VAX options which tick boxes under:
Environment -> Fonts and Colors -> Apply coloring to
have you selected? are you using a black background only in the editor, or globally via display properties? which IDE are you using? |

yes.I have selected the "Apply coloring to". I'm using visual studio .NET 2003. I set the Editor default backgroud color to black. When I use the VA in visual studio 6.0, it is right. but, from VA .NET, it is wrong. |

a black background like this should work in VS 2003, i have had it working for me.
what version of VAX are you using?
what are you trying to colour? are you selecting this colour in VAX options or in the IDE's fonts and colours options?
so if in VAX options are you trying to set the colour for "methods" or "variables"
if you are in the IDE's fonts and colours are you trying to set the colour for "comment" or "keyword"
what colour are you trying to use? |
