Hi,
by the end of august we would need to extend our support of the existing number of licenses (3). However we are thinking about extending the number of licenses so that all 5 developers may use VAX (and not just the core 3 developers).
What is the best procedure for extending the number of licenses? Can we do this online? Could we possibly submit a Purchase Order?

been there, done that :) Actually I was looking through these pages as well before posting my question. But thinking about my earlier post makes me believe it is pretty senseless anyway, because if this was possible, we would actually own a 3 user license and a 5 user license :D
Never mind the question, should have answered it myself in the first place.

i am not sure i follow the question then. i suspect you just want to purchase 2 individual licences for the two extra developers.
still, so long as you are happy, and get the extra licences you want then all is good  |

If you have licenses for two users, want to renew their support and buy additional licenses, we can consolidate your purchases and provide a single key for all users. We do this normally if you submit two transactions in sequence using our online order form -- one for the renewal and one for the new licenses. (We check our customer database to make sure you have an old license.)
If all else fails, send email to [email protected] and describe what you have in mind. |

That's exactly what I want to achieve, to have the old and new licences consolidated into a single license.
I assume this would be possible through a Purchase Order as well?
