My workspace contains not only source code but some bitmaps and icons as well.

It is typical that I just quickly type the file name and press Enter in OFIW before noticing that it will in fact open a damn .bmp with the same name. Swear, close, open OFIW again, etc., sometimes I just forgot what I wanted to do in that file .
I would like to work on source code only, don't show all files all the time.

OTOH sometimes I work on files with a special extension (own dialog descriptor files). In this latter case I wouldn't like to see any source but these.

A file name filtering in OFIW would make me happy.

i don't seem to have a move button, so this will have to stay here for now. the occasional thread in a funny position does not matter, but it helps if it is not to often

for finding your own extension files, are these listed in the current OFIW dialog? if so then i think allowing some form of wildcard / synonym matching will do what you want.

case=80

ignoring bmp files is similar to my need to ignore moc_*.cpp files in my Qt C++ projects (auto generated files i never edit), so i have put in a request to allow file names matching one or more pattern to be excluded from the OFIW dialog.

case=752

Yes, they are listed, since they are added to the project.

Regex support would also be useful in the {OF,FS}IW dialogs, sometimes needed.

Moved it.

Unfortunatley, there's no "Keep Shadow-Topic in old Forum" Option, so I hope you find your topic in here...
