I just cant get the context menu to open up with Shift+right click when I am debugging. The menu appears and disappears. Flash...
Shift+MenuKey works although. |

odd. using VS 2003, VA 1424 and C++ this works for me both when the program is running, and when the program is paused.
can you reproduce this in more than one project? what happens if you right click in the "gutter" bar? the grey bar down the left hand side of the editor. |

Odd, indeed. It doesnt even happen always it seems. I have the impression it depends on the position of the menu, something with the lower edge and the bottom of the screen. I can sometimes repro it once, then again it happens permanently. The gutter is fine always it seems. Just right clicking in the code, makes it go crazy occasionally. I remember this effect from long time ago. But it has been fixed then. |

when you say debugging do you mean that the program is running, or that you have paused the program?
i have tried both, using VS 2003 and VA 1426, working all the way around the editor, focusing on the lower left hand corner of the editor.
i presume you are running at a fairly high resolution. is it possible to post a screen shot of your IDE layout? it is possible this is relevant, and yes, i am grasping at straws here |
