When I run more than 1 IDE at the same time (typically a native solution with ~74 projects and a .NET solution with ~30 projects) one of the IDE's will have a tendency to hang. The IDE that hangs will sometimes have a status bar text message something to the effect of "waiting for other instance or Visual Studio to flush DB...". Occasionally the IDE will unfreeze in several minutes, other times I need to use the task manager to kill all instances of the IDE and restart them. This can be painful because of the time taken for the VAX plug-in to parse the files contained in the native solution. Is anyone else seeing problems like this? I'm running build 10.1.1418.0 on XP with Service Pack 2 installed. Thanks.
