I am absolutely plagued with 1426 with some or more of:

1. Hanging at project opening
2. Occasional rampant CPU usage
3. Rampant ram usage (associated with 2)

Item one has been a problem with most of the 14xx series - in desperation I sometimes go back to 1301 if I can't get projects to open.

Items 2+3 are a huge problem in current builds. I don't know what triggers them, but I run on a multiple proc hyperthreading machine (4 'CPUS') and I often run multiple instances of VS, which has in recent months become something that VA seems to have bugs around.

I'm seeing the same issues on my side. My computer has 2 CPUs.

I've gone back to 1418 and I'm waiting for a more stable release.

Rampant CPU and RAM usage are bad.

Logs help tremendously when debugging CPU and RAM usage. Any chance you could enable logging and reproduce (or wait for?) a problem?

We suspect multiple CPUs/hyperthreading is the cause of some problems -- either the hang or rampant usage. If you disable hyperthreading, tell us if any problems go away. This might certainly identify the culprit.

We appreciate your willingness to work in the "single CPU" word for a while.
