When I select a method from the list in C#, brackets are not generated. It works in C++ on the same machine. Insert () and closing ... is checked.

I'm using VS2005 Professional.

This behaviour is different from the C++ behaviour, where the brackets come up in both cases, but there are parameters, it shows the parameters.

In C#, it works the way you mention for console.write and read, but doesn't generate brackets for the Hide() methlod in a class derived from Control.

I really like the C++ behaviour. Why remove it in C#?

i think this is a bug, rather than a deliberate removal. certainly i am treating it as a bug until i hear differently.
