When installing VAX.1201 I've received the following error:
LoadLibrary(c:\\program files\\visual assist x\\vapkg.dll) failed.
GetLastError returns 0x0000007e.

The reason was probably that I don't have VS.Net installed and MSVCR71.dll is not anywhere in path.
Anyway VAX installed successfully and seems to work without any problems. Tooltips in the options dialog are really cool and smoothly replace documentation .

Hello all,

I also got this message. And I do have VS.Net installed. (But MSVCR71.dll isn't in my path either; it's in the common files directory.)

Works fine for me. VS.NET installed, dll in %SYSDIR%

Yeah, I get this same error... are we saying that installation works completely and correctly, in spite of this error?

We think we got it. Try 1202 and let us know how it goes.
