When Cleartype is enabled, all tooltips are also "cleartyped", right?
No, the tooltips which are shown in the VA view are not. Although the ones, shown for items in the FIW and SIW drop lists are cleartyped. Uhm? Eh?
To repro, just drop down the FIW list and hover the mouse over a file. This tooltip is cleartyped.
Select the file. Now the file is in the last-used list. Hover the mouse over the file in this list. This tooltip is NOT cleartyped.
Also, for my taste the colored tootips in the source windows should have a bit more space around the text to make them easier to read. The coloring reduces contrast and makes it more difficult to read within the small tooltip. |
