When quitting VS6 it does not terminate. It stays in memory after being busy for a few seconds.
This problem was occasionally happening with VA6 already but with VA X it seems to be always.

Disabling VA solves the problem (not running VisualStudio too).

When you say, "it does not terminate," are you referring to MSDev.exe? Assuming so, we cannot reproduce the problem.

Any chance you can get a call stack?

Do you have any other add-ins installed? Source on networked file systems?

Yes, MSDEV.EXE does not terminate. Call stack? From the running application? It does not crash, it does just nothing.
The only other add-in is WndTabs. Sources are local.

FWIW, it happens to me constantly using VA6 on WinXP... been doing it for a long time. I feel like it started fairly recently in terms of versions though, like maybe 1102 or so...

Obviously, I haven't experienced it in VAX...

What about using Developer Playground (http://www.blunck.info/dp.html) to get some info on it... or maybe attaching the MSVC debugger to it?
