Really. String is string. No need to try to interpret this. Honestly.

Ahem, also the tooltips for #include files are syntax colored.

C:\\VC\\STLPORT\\include\\time.h

Dont think this is really necessary.

VA X hooks the tooltip control and has a list of when it should and shouldn't color the contents of it. Obviously, the list is not correct. We've about a slew of cases for when to color and when not to color. We've missed some.

Send more cases as you find them.

In the case of the former (string content) I am not talking about tooltips. Its the content of the context window which shows the variables in scope and their value.

D'oh! The Context field is our own control. We can fix the problem easily enough.

Now that color is so pervasive, we often wonder if we should set aside a color for filenames. Black is so .... not VA.

I think we are not talking about the same: I mean the "Variabes view (Alt+4)" which shows the "Context of variables in the current scope", the view where you can switch between "Auto", "Local" and "This".

And filenames, well that is too low for VA to bother with
