In 1202, it got to 100%, then crashed. Now, in 1203, it gets to 51% (at VA_X.DLL), pauses for maybe a full second, flashes the hourglass a few times, and then crashes. Same address, I believe:
The instruction at "0x1ed09e50" referenced memory at "0x1ed09e50". The memory could not be "read".
I have run ScanDisk, uninstalled VS.NET (I never use it anyway - I only ever use VC6), emptied my recycle bin, run Disk Cleanup, shut down all apps before installing, and uninstalled VA6. Nothing helps.
Help me, Obi Wan...

Here's a clue.
I thought to myself, "Self, what would you do after unpacking all the files? Why, I'd register the DLLs and OCXs and stuff!" So, I opened a DOS window, attached to the appropriate folder, and said:
regsvr32 /u va_x.dll
... and I got the standard "success" message:
DllUnregisterServer in va_x.dll succeeded.
... but when I dismissed it, I got the exact same error message as when I try to install:
The instruction at "0x1ee95e64" referenced memory at "0x1ee95e64". The memory could not be "read".
So, I tried to register it, and got the standard "success" message, followed by the same error message as always.

Larry, We tried sending you an email via forms, but assume it failed. Send email to [email protected] and we will set you up with an install that does some logging.
