I can't get the search function on this forum to return any hits. Even if I search for "VAX" on this forum, in the message body, any member, I still get zero hits...

Just tried - works without problems. Both for this and all forums.

Okay, here's the bug.

There is a checkbox called "Archived Posts". Since it is a checkbox, that *should* mean it is an *additional* option. That is, having it unchecked *should* mean, "Search only current posts", and having it checked *should* mean, "Search both current posts and archived posts".

What it's actually doing is, if checked, *only* searching archived posts. Since this is "OR" behavior, it should be done with radio buttons, not with a checkbox:

O Search current posts
O Search archived posts

Or, even better, make it an "AND", and use checkboxes:

[] Search current posts
[] Search archived posts

Thanks.

We use Snitz forums. We can't find any reference to the problem on their site.

Perhaps the fact we've never archived any posts is a problem. We'll get to that one of these fine days.
