Normally I don't report performance issues (I just wait for a faster PC), but editing my ridiculously huge RC file is really, really slow. (I mean editing the RC text by hand, which I am forced to do a lot of.)
Even with "Syntax Coloring" disabled, it pegs the CPU for about a full minute whenever I insert a single character in the file. Admittedly, 5975 lines is a bit long for an RC file, but I figured you'd want to know...

Something is whacked.
We know you're running a custom build, ie 1206c.
If you don't mind, retry the editing when build 1207 is out. If still a problem, enable logging and send us the output. |
