Hello together,
if i double-click to a item in the classview, nothing happens...
if i open the context menu on the same item in the classview, and proceed "Go to Declaration", the correct action occured...
if i disable the addin in the addin-manager, the doubleclick works correctly.

I have noticed something similar when double clicking on the tooltip that appears in the tree. E.g I put the mouse over the entry and the tooltip shows the full line. Then when I double click I just get a lot of flickering. If I double click on the Icon to the left of the tip then it works properly.

Hello feline,
if i use the keyboard, it works (and no tooltip is shown...) (but it-?s tricky to set the focus using the mouse to the treectrl... ==:| whooo)
i can verify the discoveries from AdyR. If i can prevent the tooltip, then the click works. {e.g. if i use the keyboard or i double click to the blue lock symbol from sourcesafe (but the membertype symbol creates the tooltip)}
please rescue us...

reading AdyR's description i was able to reproduce this problem. unfortunately i get exactly the same effect if i load VS 2003 without VA (using the add-in manager to stop VA loading), so this is not a VA problem.
have you tried using the keyboard shortcut to place focus into the class view? it is listed as CTRL-SHIFT-C (view menu -> class view). for me this places keyboard focus into the tree view.
personally i never use the class view, finding a combination of OFIW, FSIW and VAView does what i want very well. have you looked into the class view component of VAView? |

i found solution. but i think it's va problem. during install va1418, va copy 'devenv.exe.manifest' file to vs2003 'ide' folder. to solve the problem, delete or rename this file. of course, va operate well.

Your solution is correct.
Later builds of VA X do not install devenv.exe.manifest for VS.NET. |
