Hello,

I'm using the C++ Application Framework POCO
<http://pocoproject.org/index.html>.

I was wondering how to tell VAX to use the documentation which is always after the functions/classes name as below, and not before as usual:

class AClass
// The class AClass ...
//
{
AClass();
// ctor ...

bool fooBar();
// return true when ...
};

It seems VAX searches for documentation before the name of functions or classes.

Any idea?

Thanks,
Daniel

Unfortunately you cannot currently tell VA to look for comments in this position. I have put in a feature request to see what our developers make of this:

I'd really like to see this fixed also, doxygen supports trailing documentation - (In POCO's case, it's always immediately after blank line, function, then indented /// documentation.)

As it is, I have to use the code definition window to get correct docinfo (which IS NOT syntax colored in VS2010, btw.)

I'm looking forward seeing this fixed in a future release. I'm a great fan of VA and POCO, using them every day. Thanks doing VA a great tool.

Thank you for the details zarthcode, I have put a note on the case about this. Unfortunately no progress on this so far, but this thread should be updated when this is done.
