Hi,

how can I turn off the behaviour mentioned in the topic there is no setting for it in Advanced - Corrections Settings.

Detailed Example:

I want to type this:
PointerToClass -> methodOfClass() ;

But while typing VA converts this to:
PointerToClass ->_memberOfClass

How can I turn off this correction behaviour ?

THX,

Cheers, ParticlePeter

Which IDE and version of VA are you using?

Does this happen for all classes, or only some classes?

Does this happen if you type slowly? I am wondering if somehow speed of typing is a factor.

So far I cannot reproduce this effect here using VS2008 and VA 1859.

Hi feline,

wow, I am surprised, I cannot reproduce it either, but still it happens now and then. When it happens again, ill post a follow-up.

I am using VS2010, VA 1850.

Cheers, PP

When this happens can you please try undoing the editing on this line, and retyping the same code. When you do this, what happens? Does the problem repeat, or do you get the correct code?

It is quite possible, quite likely even, that this is a situation specific problem, so that it will only happen in a few specific places in your code.
