| I upgraded from 1850 (which works fine) to 1859 today, and my VS2008 became very unresponsive. I noticed that each attempt to move the cursor in the text editor window causes the devenv.exe to take up 13% of the CPU for a second or two, during which time the editor is not responding. I tried re-starting VS2008, and also rebooting my PC, and the problem persisted. I finally gave up and went back to build 1850 and the issue went away. |

Which OS are you using, and is it 32bit or 64bit?
Which file type did you have this problem in?
How large, approximately, was this file? 20 lines? 200,000 lines?
How many cores does your CPU have? Is 13% approximately 100% of a single core? |
