In case you write comment like this:
/// {instllation}

Spell checker option will not be available.

I'm not sure whether it is intentional, but I have put in a bug report for the problem to see what the developers think about this:

This is by design. We don't spell check lines that look like they might be code or html/xml tags. The braces trigger the code check and <> triggers the tag check.
