When I try to select text by pressing and holding LMB and then moving the mouse nothing happens.

edit:
But after pressing RMB once (to get the popup menu), LMB selecting automagically works again.
The last thing I did before LMB didn't work anymore was add some words to the spell checker's dictionary.

I noticed something like this today too, but it only occurred in one file. When I closed the file and reopened it, it worked fine again.

It just happened to me again. I noticed that double-clicking still highlighted that word. It seems to be only click-and-drag that's broken.

Oh, and I had just added a word to the dictionary. So this may indeed be the trigger.

We can reproduce the problem in build 1213. It occurs immediately after Right Clicking a misspelled word and adding it to the dictionary.

Thank you for the detective work.

We will fix the problem.

It turns out it's not only adding the word to the dictionary that causes this. Just bringing up the spelling menu with right-click will cause it.
