Why does VAX parse the UE5 source code for each UE5 project?
It takes hours!
There is only one UE5 engine code, and there can be any number of projects. So why can't all projects (with the same engine code) share the parsed information?

Where do you have your Unreal Engine source code installed to? There is a known limitation in VA, that it wont correctly pick up the Unreal Engine directory tree if it installed outside of "C:\Program Files\", so this might be what you are seeing. If you are then there is a work around for this.
If Unreal Engine is installed under "C:\Program Files\" then if you look at:
VA Options -> C/C++ Directories
are all of the directories inside your Unreal Engine directory tree listed? They should be. |
