After updating Visual Studio, syntax highlight doesn't work anymore for a certain file extension. The extension in question is HLSL header file, which is added through Options -> Game Development -> Additional Extensions.
Highlight functions as expected for other file extensions.
The navigation bar and other features of VA work as expected, so I assume it is only related to syntax.
Tried to rebuild the symbol database and reinstall VA, but all in vain. |

Unfortunately this is currently a known problem:

Microsoft changed something to do with HLSL, and other shader files in VS2022 version 17.12.0 and above, and we are going to have to update VA to handle this change, so that syntax highlighting starts working again. This is something we are hoping to get to soon. |
