There are several threads in which people discuss problems with coloring. This thread is an attempt to consolidate the discussion, but only as it pertains to coloring of identifiers that contain numbers and/or underscores.
We believe people see something like this:
#define foo123bar
Though we are unable yet to reproduce the problem, we understand several people still have this problem with build 1233 or later.
If you have the problem in build 1233 or later, please post or send via email a screenshot of the IDE settings you use to color text.
If you have a separate problem with color and you have build 1233 or later, please start a new topic or bump your old post. |

No follow-up posts so far. This is a good thing.
Build 1236 will fix one instance where foo2bar is colored incorrectly. The problem occurs only when foo2int is undefined, and only with particular color settings. |

Which specific part of the IDE settings do you want? And would it be easier to give you a copy of my devenv.xml file? |

For VS.NET, we would like a screenshot of Tools|Options|Environment|Fonts and Colors.
For VC++ 6.0, we would like Tools|Options|Format.
Build 1236, with the fix for foo2bar, is available at http://www.wholetomato.com/downloads/VA_X_Setup1236.exe |

I'm not sure how useful this will be - because you only see very a limited selection of information with a screenshot of this panel (after all, there are over 40 settings), but here you go - one taken with build 1236.

We can reproduce another problem in build 1236 with coloring of foo2int.
