It would be usefull to be suggested to include necessary headers on using any types declared in it; |

Could this be done? A compile tells you that something is missing, but not where to find it. As hard as it is to find by hand, I sure would hate to have to do it with programming. |

We have thought of this. Probably will never implement.
Imagine the grief if VA X #included the wrong version of a header. |

Yes, I would be upset if you actually #included the wrong version, but if you listed the headers that had the missing type declared and let us choose, then it would be our fault if we #included the wrong one. It would be nice also to allow us to look at the headers while the list is still up before choosing one. |

that sounds very intrusive while i am typing.
however, if this was triggered by a keybinding or toolbar button, so that VAX would then produce this list of suggestions...
Not yet as old as dirt is right, the ability to view the header is going to be important. you may also want to know its position on the HD, in case you are looking for a specific local header. |

The HCB might be of use for this one: showing ALL the symbols with the given name if its not found in any of the already included headers. |

*mutter mutter* this would mean i need to get work to provide me with a decent sized monitor. i hardly ever see the HCB, only using it occasionally for the recent file list. it is simply to large at 800*600
not WT's fault, it is just the end of a very hot and frustrating day |

Whats the problem with the HCB being 800x600? Oh, ... you mean... your monitor is... *g*
If you need a change, just come over here and I'll show you what "frustrating" means. |
