As stated in the online help, there are different icons used to idicate an lvalue or rvalue of an expression. so one should know if a symbol is modified or not. as i see the correct icons are used but the conclusion that a lvalue is modified is false. For example
if (a == b) ...
the reference to a has the lvalue icon.
personally i think the knowledge that a symbol is a lvalue is not so important. The implied meaning of modifying references is much more usefull and therfore i suggest to change the behaviour when this icons appear.
