Twice now since installing 1522, 'List methods' functionality has gone haywire. Alt+M displays the list of methods and up/down arrow keys do work, but typing doesn't filter the list, Esc doesn't dismiss, and Enter doesn't dismiss and go to the selected method. Restarting VS fixes it for a while. I don't recall ever having this in previous builds (1446 was the previous version I had).

Do you have any other add-ins installed? If so try disabling them and see if it fixes it. I've had no problems with the Context Field, and I use it quite extensivly.

No changes to add-ins were made any time recently. I just have Eluent Tools and Fast Solution Build, which I highly doubt could interfere (and they have cooperated w/ all previous builds of VA).

can you try disabling your other plugin's to see if it makes a difference? i have seen someone else report a very similar problem in 1522, and they also had other plugin's installed. something could have changed to make problems with other plugin's more likely in 1522.

It just happened again (4th time) with no add-ins except VA loaded. I wasn't using VS much between when I restarted with the add-ins disabled, but when I switched back to it, it was acting up.

It seems to be just a matter of starting VS and letting it run a while in the background. When I return to it after a couple hours, Alt+M no longer works right.

You wrote "typing doesn't filter the list" - does that mean that what you type is displayed but no action is taken or that what you type doesn't even appear?

Correct. The typed characters do display in the edit control but don't filter the list. And Up/down arrows and Page up/down do change the selection/scroll the list, but Enter and Esc do nothing. Also, clicking on an item in the list with the mouse does navigate there and dimiss the list, but it also beeps (which doesn't happen normally) and beeps when you click outside of the list to dismiss it.

i'm seeing the exact same thing, so it's not a "single machine" problem.

even unloading the matching project didn't help
