Under VC2005 Alt+G sometimes opens a new version of the file, even if it's already opened (and more bad edited). This happens in a rather big project for at least one big C file every time while other files work as expected... I tried to restart the IDE, same result. |

Is that the same problem as in case "Bug: VAX 1510:: ALT-G jmps to file in anther prjct"?
If so, guys the easily implmentable suggestions I made will sove all of the ALT-G issues we have so far.

Yep, 1528 seems to fix this problem, at least it did not occur on the same file as 1526.
And no, it did not open a file from another project, just the same file a second time. |

Sasa as i understand it the bug fix here was a re-write of how alt-g remembers and finds symbols, rather than the code for actually jumping, which is where your issues are centred. |
