When I us methods on strings defined as S"<stringvalue>" VAX does not recognize S"" as valid System::String object e.g. in


if (S""->Equals(string)) {}


Equals is underlined red

i take it this is VS2003? this does not want to compile in VS2005, but i see this effect in VS2003
