It would be nice to add the option to turn the flashscreen off.

What splash screen do you mean? The splash screen shown by the IDE on IDE start up?

If so I'm not sure if VA X can change that. There might be an undocumented IDE feature for that?

devenv.exe /nosplash
sometimes a hexeditor is enough:)
