- create an empty .h or .cpp file w/ explorer - drag&drop to a project - db click in solution explorer to open file -> no cursor is shown and when typing e.g. #include suggestion listbox is shown in wildness
I reported this to Support recently. It happens when you open an empty file, and it also happens if you delete everything out of an existing file. The bug is still present in 1534, so I hope another release candidate will be created before moving 15xx into release mode. I am also using VS.NET 2003 SP1, but I think it was an issue on pre-SP1 as well. Is someone else able to verify? Thanks.

I just tried this in SP1. I see the same thing. Thing is, I see the same thing with VA disabled and with VA turned off in Add-in Manager. So, my tendency is to think this is entirely SP1, not VA.
yes:) it seems disabling vax in add-in manager still leaves some bits turned on. disable vax and rename the vax inst directory then the cursor problem is gone.
