I've just moved up to release 1534 and working in VS 2003. However, VisualAssist no longer seems to parse all the .vcprojs in the solution. Is there something to be done here? I have: Under Visual Assist Options -> Performance -> General Parse all files when opening a project is enabled, selected. I've tried an install/reinstall.
Since no one else seems to have the problem, it must be something stupid.
Any help/suggestions appreciated.
Thanks, Richard |

Are files missing from the OFIW dialog? Can you describe the symptoms that lead you to believe the vcprojs aren't getting parsed? |

Yes, no discernible difference. |

OFIW = Open Files In Workspace (Visual Assist GUI). No it looks like all the project files seem to be present (4516 of 4516). The reason I think the vcprojs aren't getting parsed is when starting VS the status bar displays VA X: .... for a while (system files), but, never shows any project files being parsed. In version 1456, quite a number of status messages would be displayed as it parsed each of the project files.
Could it be a Windows 64 problem?
Thanks, Richard |

Ignoring the status bar messages are there any other symptoms? |

Yes, stuff that uses symbols does not work, e.g. 'Go', 'Find symbol'.
I've switched back and forth between 1534 and 1446 a few times. Everything seems to work fine in 1446. Is it possible the parser is silently failing? |
