I like, e.g., the autotext entry "forr" that inserts the "for loop across STL container with const_iterator". However, when the autotext window appears where I have to insert the arguments needed, then it would be nice if they could be auto-completed by pressing Ctrl-Space, like in the normal code. Currently, it is too awkward to enter the arguments manually. I'm not used to type whole variable names any more

Regards,
Marcus.

While the request is already in the queue, it's very unlikely we'll ever get it done. We like it; we just have many other items to do first.

A possible alternative would be to just put one or two characters in the boxes, allow the autotext entry to enter those into the code, then autocomplete them there.

khb i use several different autotext rules, all personalised, for doing this, all of the time. what i do is copy the type and variable name first, and then use CTRL-SHIFT-V in the autotext dialog to paste them in.

quick, easy, and no typing errors to worry about

Thank you both for your suggestions. I will give them a try and look which one is faster

Marcus.
